Ivy Tech Community College
Financial Aid The cost of tuition, books and supplies might seem a little scary, but there are many sources of financial aid available to make financing your education a little easier.

Financial aid comes in many forms: scholarships, grants, loans or part-time employment. In Indiana most financial aid sources use the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to determine the amount of money each student is eligible to receive.

You must be admitted in a degree-seeking program before you can receive financial aid.

You must re-apply for every year that you attend college. Do not complete the FAFSA for the new year before January 1.

Your FAFSA must be received by the Federal processor by March 10 if you’re seeking an Indiana Higher Education Grant. If your FAFSA is received after March 10, you will not receive priority consideration for the grant.

Awards can be based on a variety of criteria, including financial need, academic aptitude, where you live, or even the career you are pursuing, just to name a few. Check with your local Ivy Tech financial aid office for the most complete listing of opportunities for students in your area.
