| Ivy Tech Community College reports spring semester record enrollment |
| INDIANAPOLIS - Ivy Tech Community College hit a record high for spring semester enrollment with 71,879 students enrolled statewide as of the first day of classes on January 8. The college’s statewide total headcount was up 9.5% over the first day of classes last spring.
Full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment is also on the rise, increasing 10.1% over last spring. The FTE number enrollment figure this spring is 40,083 meaning more students are taking more spring classes than ever before at Ivy Tech. Ivy Tech Community College is the state’s second largest public post-secondary institution with over 100,000 students enrolled annually. Ivy Tech has 23 campuses throughout Indiana. It serves as the state's engine of workforce development, offering affordable degree programs and training that are aligned with the needs of its community along with courses and programs that transfer to other colleges and universities in Indiana. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. |
